My Process
My candle making process has developed over the course of three years. As I learned how to make my own candles for home, I realized that I really loved being involved in the overall creation of candles. I invested myself in learning about all of the different options that were possible with different waxes and scents, and which ones my customers appreciated the most. A few years later and I have developed a product that not only I love, but that many people do too. I like that people have made Hand to Heart candles a part of their homes, and that these candles have brought people comfort and relaxation. Wainee, Wainer, Whatever
I am a one-woman operation who discovered candle making during an experiment to make homemade gifts in 2022. I've spent the last year working on my candles every weekend and on days off from my regular job. It's given me something to do and has brought me much peace. For me, there is just enough thoughtfulness, variety and creativity in the process to keep me thinking about the next project. More often than not, while I wait for ideal wax temperatures, I find myself feeling more and more grateful and wish others had the same opportunity to refocus for a moment to be amazed at all the great experiences and for people in our lives.
